This page details the standard terms and conditions of business for Jayne Douglas Photography. By booking a portrait session with Jayne Douglas Photography you agree to these T&C’s

A booking fee is required to hold the date of your session and must be paid at the time of booking. The booking fee is non-refundable including in the event that you should no longer require my services. During promotional periods for specified sessions, the booking fee may become refundable at the viewing session. Unless stated, no monies paid to me are refundable unless due to rare unforeseen circumstances I am unable to provide the agreed service, and in this instance the booking fee shall be returned.

Should you need to reschedule, I require 72 hours notice. I allow one event of rescheduling per client.

If you fail to show to a session and wish to re-book, the booking fee will be required again.

In the event of torrential weather conditions for an outdoor shoot we will reschedule or choose another location. Light winds and clouds will not hamper a photography session.

Jayne Douglas Photography will not offer discounted re-shoots on the basis of client regret over wardrobe choice, location choice or individuals who fail to cooperate during the session.

In the unlikely event that the photography from the portrait session is unusable due to technical problems. I will re-shoot at no additional cost.

Jayne Douglas Photography will own the copyright of all images created and may use them in marketing materials for the company, including – but not limited to – the website, social media self-promotions and editorial use. If you would prefer to keep your images private, let me know and I will respect your request.

Session times can vary and I may end the session at my discretion if I determine that I have captured images of quality and quantity.

All images include standard retouching – they are individually corrected for colour balance and contrast for example and distracting elements are also removed. Anything outside standard retouching will incur an additional charge.

Jayne Douglas Photography clients who have booked with a promotional offer must first attend a viewing session or the offer will be rendered invalid and the booking fee will not be returned.  Strictly one promotional offer per family within a 12-month period. No refunds are offered on part-used or unused vouchers and promotional offers cannot be exchanged. Jayne Douglas Photography reserves the right to substitute complimentary products.

Orders are final and cannot be refunded if a client changes their mind after purchase.

Prints, frames or images must be collected within one month or they will be disposed of.

Gift Vouchers must be registered as soon as possible and used to attend your photo session within 6 months of purchase. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or offer, and may only be used as described. The Gift Voucher may not be used to purchase photographs from a previous photo session. Gift vouchers are not transferable and is not exchangeable for a cash alternative.
