Web Design ↓
What platform do you design your websites on?
I design with Divi, the premium theme by Elegant Themes which works on the WordPress Platform. It’s fully editable, responsive and uses an intuitive drag-and-drop building tool. Most WordPress themes restrict your layout possibilities – with Divi, the possibilities are endless and you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to manage your professionally designed website.
What are your timelines for each project?
Typically a small business website takes 6-8 weeks but the timeframe is dependent on the timeliness of content provision and number of revisions.
What type of support do you offer?
I offer 30 days of support after we launch your website. I will be on hand to help with plugin updates, bug fixes and any questions you may have about the running of your site.
Can I hire you on an hourly or day rate?
Yes you can. This can be particularly useful for clients who want alterations to their exisiting Divi websites to reflect changes in their business. Please email me at hello@jaynedouglashome for availability and pricing
Do you offer hosting?
I don’t host your website – this leaves you free to pick any hosting service which supports WordPress – and best suits your individual needs. It is the client’s responsibility to purchase hosting and domain name before the launch of their website. If you are unsure of which host to use, I recommend SiteGround – which offers good value for money, has excellent support and safety features.
How do payments work?
A 50% deposit and signed contract is required before we can set a date for your website design process to begin. You will be required to pay the remainder of your balance when your website is ready for launching.
Where are you based?
Where do you photograph?
I live in Brentford, West London which is surrounded by many beautiful places that are great for family photoshoots and natural light portraiture. My favourites are the gardens of Syon House with it’s beautiful conservatory and lake, Kew Garden, with glass house cover for drizzly days and the grassland and bracken of Richmond Park. For studio-based headshots I am available in Brentford or can use portable equipment to photograph at your premises.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If it’s a rainy day we’ll reschedule. Cloudy days however can be great for photography, diffusing harsh sunlight to eliminate the hard shadows which can be unflattering in portraits.
